Simone Biles
Simone Biles was an American gymnast born March 14, 1997 in Ohio, Columbus. She is considered to be one of the greatest athletes. The 2016 Olympics were held at Rio de Janeiro and Biles was the U.S.'s first female gymnast ever to earn 4 gold medals. She also won the world title for all-around three times consecutively (2013-15). Biles is a native of Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. They grew in the Houston metropolitan area. Simone's interest in gymnastics began at age six, during a trip with her day-care group to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained in the hands of Aimee Borman's guidance until the year 2011. Biles earned a silver in vault in 2010 and also a bronze medal at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. Biles then advanced to competitions at the elite level in the year 2011. Within two years, she been the best in this particular sport. Biles's consistent, exuberant personality and the level of difficulty in her four events -- vault uneven bars balance beam floor workout and floor exercise -- made her above the others.
