Annie Murphy

Anne Frances Murphy aka Annie Murphy was born on 19th December 1986. She's Canadian, but is based in Hollywood. Her most well-known work is playing the character Alexis Rose in the CBC TV sitcom Schitt's creek. The show started in 2015 and ended in the year 2020. Her character was praised by critics for her performance and awarded her a Primetime Emmy Award. Her birthplace was within Ottawa Ontario Canada. Her parents both worked as instructors. Elmwood School is in Ottawa. She performed on stage in plays. Her next step was to enroll at Concordia University and pursue a stage performance diploma. Annie Murphy began her career in 2007 with the television Lethal, a crime-thriller film Obsession. Following that, she acted in several films either as an actor or in minor parts. Some of these films are very popular like Story of Jen released in 2008 Lick in 2010 and A Windigo Tale released the same year. She also appeared on Canadian TV shows like Good God aired on 2012 Rookie Blue aired that same year. Her capacity to handle multiple projects is impressive. Annie's professional career started out in a tough spot for her. She had a difficult to prove her talents and getting noticed. Furthermore, her stellar performances have made she was the top actress in the entertainment and film business.
